tonight was a memorable one. firstly, I would be lying if I told you that every day I go through this is painless and easy. Yesterday and this morning, I had the opportunity to talk to a young guy with lymphoma (verrrry similar to leukemia) just a state away. We were diagnosed around the same time. My thoughts? 1. It's the little things I've missed so much
The sound of mom clanging dishes around in the kitchen as she pulls them out of the dishwasher.
Getting up in the middle of the night to get a glass of cold water from the fridge.
Putting a pillow over the floor vent because my room always gets too hot.
Playing with my dogs, who always think a sock is more fun than the expensive dog toys we buy them.
Hearing my brother laugh at his video games...
